Child and Teen Checkups

A Child and Teen Checkups (C&TC) is a full wellness checkup. It is available for any person who is under the age of 21 and eligible for Medical Assistance. 

Health check-ups

It is recommended that children have check-ups at the following ages.

• 2 weeks.
• 2, 4 and 6 months.
• 9, 12 and 15 months.
• 18, 24 and 30 months.
• Every year from age 3 through 20 years.

Dental check-ups

It is recommended to have dental check-ups at the following ages.

• At first tooth or 12 months old.
• Then every 6 months (2 times per year).
