Hamline Avenue Reconstruction
The City of Roseville, together with Ramsey County and the City of Arden Hills, has delayed Phase 1 (County Road C to Lydia Avenue) of the Hamline Avenue Reconstruction Project until 2027.
Following the start of construction, the project team identified an unforeseen underground utility conflict involving a critical 12-inch Xcel Energy natural gas main beneath the roadway. The gas main cannot be relocated until early 2027, preventing the roadway work from being completed safely this construction season.
As a result, Hamline Avenue will reopen to traffic prior to the July 4th holiday weekend, with mailboxes being reinstalled July 10th.
