Ramsey County offers cash assistance to eligible low-income residents through a variety of programs.
Apply for Cash Assistance through MNbenefits.mn.gov. This is the fastest and easiest way to apply.
Please submit only one application. Submitting multiple applications through different channels will delay the processing of your application.

Some SNAP participants are reporting problems with their EBT accounts. If you get SNAP, General Assistance, Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP), the MFIP Housing Assistance Grant, Minnesota Supplemental Aid (MSA) check the balance and call your casework if any problems. Check the EBT card on the day you normally would expect benefits to be deposited. Monitor your card closely before using it. Due to funding changes by Congress, EBT benefits (including TANF cash assistance) that are stolen on or after Dec. 21, 2024, can no longer be replaced.
