A championship-style course that opened in 1929, Keller Golf Course boasts a rich history and tradition unmatched by any other public golf course in Minnesota.

Course features

Challenging 18-hole course with all bentgrass playing surfaces.
Full-length, handicap accessible driving range includes target greens, practice bunker and chipping green.
Multiple tee system.
Keller Grille, a full service bar and restaurant, located in Keller Clubhouse.
Year-round banquet and meeting space for private gatherings of up to 300 people with spectacular views of the golf course and Keller Lake. Private rooms feature an inviting stone hearth, stunning views, wood beamed ceilings, outdoor patios and private balconies.

Tee times and hours

During golf season, Keller is open Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to sunset. Saturday and Sunday, sunrise to sunset. Times may be adjusted due to weather conditions

Caddy services

Caddie services are now available at Keller Golf Course. Our caddies are local young men and women trained in all basic caddie services including yardages and green reading. These young people are hardworking and desire to enhance your golfing experience. They typically carry one bag and some are trained to forecaddie in a group with carts.

Caddies must be arranged at least 48 hours in advance. We recommend you book a caddie when you make your tee time by emailing [email protected] or by calling 612-845-9485. Every effort will be made to provide caddies that are requested on the date of play. These arrangements are made specifically for you so if you need to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours in advance.

Caddie rates and tipping

Standard pay rates have been established according to classifications. Caddies generally carry one bag only, if carrying two bags – the below rate is doubled. 9-hole caddie rate is half of the 18-hole rate.

Honor Caddie: $35 base rate
A- Caddie: $25 base rate
B- Caddie: $20 base rate
Forecaddie: $25 base rate per player

Gratuity is at your discretion. As a guideline a $10-$20 gratuity is not uncommon.

All caddies are independent contractors and all payments form player to caddies are in cash.

Lessons and leagues

Keller offers group and private lessons for adults and juniors. Several leagues are also available; contact the clubhouse for league pricing and availability.

Awards

Keller has hosted several PGA and LPGA tours throughout the years. Keller reopened to the public in 2014 after a complete renovation that earned recognition as the Best Municipal Renovation of 2014 from Golf Magazine, and Renovation of the Year from Golf Inc. Tee Times Magazine readers named Keller a Top 5 Favorite Public Course (2018), Top 5 Course that Provides the Best Value (2019), Top 5 Favorite Par 3 (2019) and Top 5 Golf Course in the Best Condition (2019).
